Special Meeting held on October 12, 2009

In the special meeting of India Rejuvenation Initiative (IRI) held on October 12, 2009, the following decisions were taken:

§         IRI will take all necessary steps to collect all possible material / evidence in connection with the ‘Bofors issue’.

§         Write to the Government on the issue requesting to issue a White Paper on the whole matter and place all the records / evidence / affidavits and all the related material in public domain for public scrutiny.

§         IRI to consider filing of petitions in the court in the matter

§         To initiate awareness campaign by making the best possible use of technology such as media / SMS / email / internet services etc.

§         Taking all other necessary steps required to thwart the heinous efforts to close the case without punishing the offenders.
